179 Chamberlain Highway House Fire 11/20/25

Meriden Fire earlier this morning went to work on an attic fire directly across from Engine 2’s quarters. Members of E2 had doorbell walk ups reporting of a fire across the street with heavy smoke banked down in the area. 2’s arrived first due across the street to a working fire in the attic. Truck 1 (spare Truck 2) while enroute from across the city experienced a mechanical issue but made it to the job. Engine 3 second due took in the hydrant from E2’s training grounds across the street. Held to a 1st alarm assignment. On the ticket: Engines 2, 3, 4, Truck 1, Cars 4 and 9 (Safety) as well as Car 5 (FMO). Our mechanic Car 7 arrived as well for the repairs.
