119 Hobart Street - 2nd Alarm Structure Fire 7/12/26
Just after 10:30am this morning, fire alarm received calls for a house fire at 119 Hobart Street in the Uptown section of the city. Engine 3 (first due) reported heavy smoke showing from quarters as their firehouse is a few blocks away. Car 4 (shift commander) called the working fire and requested a 2nd alarm to be struck bringing all city companies to the scene. Mutual aid from Wallingford, Middletown and Southington was requested with Wallingford and Middletown going to the scene to work. Heavy fire in the attic, third and second floors of an OMD (occupied multiple dwelling). Extensive fire conditions and heavy overhaul. Heavy EMS and police presence on scene.
